calling you the nicest things

Tonight I had a great dinner with Mike, our immediate families, and a few of my dearest long-distance friends. (It was a place called Mad Hatter, which I'd never been to but enjoyed. Check out our private room's ceiling!)

I had a great casual surprise bachelorette party afterward. Green and purple drinks were had, celebrity crushes were admitted, Michael Trucco was admired, bachelorette Mad Lids were written, questionably anatomically correct play-dough sculptures were made, and I had a lot of fun with a small group of spectacular ladies whose company I always enjoy.

In about thirteen hours I'll be getting married to a man who's also pretty spectacular. After living with him for so long, I wasn't sure I'd get hit by any moments of whoa, this is pretty surreal and exciting about the wedding itself, but you know what? I have.

I've got a fic exchange story to turn in, and I'm getting myself to bed to crash hard. Have a great weekend, guys.
