it's a new dawn, it's a new day

I need to get some more sleep, but I started this post with the intention of giving my writer a last little public thank you before the reveal. Grace was written for me, and I was so pleased to read it. It's a Y: The Last Man fic featuring Hero and Beth II, two of my very favorites in a comic full of characters I love so much. I've always been fascinated by them individually, and together they make a hell of a pair. Their friendship is something I dearly adore, and I really enjoyed the slice of it that Grace provides.

I'll also take the opportunity to plug a few of the small number of stories I've read so far. Save the Queen is a lovely little unexpected gem, a Final Fantasy Tactics piece centered on Agrias and Ovelia. Tomorrow is a short but bittersweet transition from Peter Pan to Hook. Castles on the Ground is a Little Women story that just made me so content, probably because I've always loved Jo so much.

And now bed seems like a fine place to be.
